Margie Miller Earle went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 29, 2021. She was loved and admired by many and will be missed. Margie was born February 14, 1928 to Ray G. and Mae B. Miller of Pageland, SC. She met and married Julius W. Earle and they resided in Charlotte, NC. Before raising her children, she worked as a switchboard operator for the local phone company. Margie and Julius, her husband of 56 years, were active members of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church where they met most of their closest friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a ready smile and caring attitude. She was blessed with 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Margie had a passion for her flowers and growing plants and was very good at it. She was a loving mother who supported all kinds of activities including Girl Scout cookie mom, Cub Scout den mother, member of the Winterfield Neighborhood Association and transporter and supporter of many sporting events. Until she lost her memory, she was as sharp as a tack with never-ending stories about her family and life growing up. She was the last surviving sibling and led a full and productive life for her 92 years. She will be remembered in the hearts of those who knew her. Margie was preceded in death by her husband Julius, daughter Amelia, grandson Jacob Goetz, great granddaughter Madison Leazer and her siblings, Vera Rallings, Evie Miller, Howard Miller, Elma Rae Hendrix and Faye Moore. She is survived by: Daughter Cindy Goetz (Glenn), grandchildren Kristen Bolch (Chris), Jeff Goetz (Jane) and great grandchildren Lexi Bolch, Kayden Leazer, Alexis Goetz, Eloise Goetz and Audrey Goetz. Son Donald Earle (Terri), grandchildren Audrey Valentini (Sean), Danielle Twitty (Simeon) Bridget Jennings (David -deceased) and great grandchildren Bella Valentini, Miriam Twitty and Milo Twitty. Son David Earle (Aleshia), grandchildren Alex (Emily), Gavin, and Jake A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery, Charlotte, NC and livestreamed via: Tribucast In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pritchard at South End. Due to the nature of Covid, immediate family only will be present at the graveside service. Feel free to leave the family your condolences via the Tribute Wall provided.
