Michael "Cale" Leming, 50 years old of Charlotte, passed away on September 2, 2021. Cale was born on September 30, 1970, in Gastonia to Bill Leming and the late Ann Cook Leming. Cale was a loving husband, father, son and brother and friend of many. Cale was a loving, kindhearted man, who would go above and beyond to help anyone. He was an avid outdoors man, who loved to hunt and fish or just being around nature. Cale loved his NASCAR! Cale was predeceased by his mom, Ann and is survived by his beloved wife, Karla Cruz Leming, his daughter, Sarah Leming, his father, Bill Leming, his brother Joe Leming, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 1pm to 2pm with a Celebration of Life to begin at 2pm in the Hankins and Whittington Chapel, 1111 East Blvd. Charlotte. Memorial contributions may be made in Cale's memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605 or St. Jude's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
