Jacob Anthony Pawloski, 23, of Matthews, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born Saturday, January 31, 1998 in South Kingston, Rhode Island, he was the son of Scott and Darinka Pawloski. Jake was fearless in everything that he set his mind to achieve. Known for his warm and charming personality. He obtained his Associate's degree at Central Piedmont Community College and went on to take additional courses in Boone, NC. Jake became part of the family at Devil's Ridge Golf Club where he worked. He enjoyed playing pool, basketball, mixing music, collecting cards and enjoyed playing games with his brother. Family was everything to Jake. In addition to his parents, Jake is survived by his brother, Zachary Pawloski; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Paula Pawloski; maternal grandparents, Manuel and Alicia Castro; and many more loving family and friends. A Celebration of Jakes life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 14, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5897 Hemby Road Weddington, NC 28104. Jacob’s ashes will be carried by his loved ones through the world so his adventures will continue. In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe called “Remembering Jake” (https://gofund.me/058f5291) has been set up for funeral expenses and Jake’s favorite charities. Feel free to leave the family your condolences via the Tribute Wall provided.
