Gary Wayne West died Saturday, April 2, 2022 surrounded by family. Gary was born August 23, 1959. His hometown was Charlotte, North Carolina. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Max Maintenance for 42 years. Gary had an engineer's mind. He could fix anything and applied that acumen to his employment. He was a consummate fisherman, loved golf, basketball and his beloved Washington Redskins. He was an animal lover being responsible for many canine/feline rescues, all of which ended up in the home. Gary is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tracy Bierfischer West; daughter, Sidney West; mother, Pat Dozier; brothers: Kevin and Chris Dozier (Martha); nephew, Tyler Dozier; nieces, Elizabeth and Helen and many more loving family and friends.
