Timothy Lee Hudson of Mooresville, NC passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the age of 60 surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with lung cancer. Timmy was born in Charlotte, NC on March 7, 1962, to the late Margurite Watkins and James Hudson. Timmy was a business owner in the construction industry and known to all for his contagious happiness. Timmy is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Oliver Hudson; son Chase Hudson and wife Ashley Hudson of Chester, SC; daughters Candace Shultz and husband Kevin Shultz of Anchorage, AK and Ashley Turman and husband Dillon Turman of Belmont, NC; grandchildren: Allie Hudson, Nathan Peavy, Natalie Shultz, Addisyn Shultz, Charlotte Shultz, Hadley Kate Shultz, Mila Shultz, and Emerson Turman; brothers Dennis Hudson and wife Sherry Hudson, Rodney Hudson and wife Amy Hudson and Rick Phillips; sisters Debbie Canup and Marty Grim; stepfather Gary Watkins; nieces; Taylor Oliver and Rebecca Noble; nephews; Shane Canup, Cody Hudson, Josh Stewart, Robby Oliver, Andrew Oliver, Dylan Oliver, and Matthew Oliver; many beloved cousins, family, and friends. Timmy was preceded in death by; his son Travis Hudson; his mother, Margurite Watkins, and his father James Hudson. A visitation will be held at 5:00 PM with a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the Chapel of Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored that donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell or Mecklenburg County.
