"South Hadley, Mary T. Corneliusen, 84, died peacefully on June 4, 2009 at Jarvis House with her husband by her side. Born on May 17, 1925 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Delia (Fleming) Ward. She resided in Merrick, NY for many years before moving to South Hadley in 1956. Mary was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Society. She enjoyed her family and her home. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 58 years, Lewis Corneliusen along with her two daughters, Ellen Corneliusen and her husband Lee Zuckerman of Darien, CT, Priscilla Guiney and her husband Patrick of Concord, MA and her son, Kenneth and his wife, Benita Pulins of Salt Lake City, UT. Her five grandchildren, Marielle, Christopher and Caitlin Guiney and Penelope and Caroline Zuckerman along with many nieces and nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by her sisters Ellen, Nora and Briget and her brother John. All services are private and Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home have been entrusted with arrangements.
