Patricia Ann Siegner
January 30th, 1931 - February 19th, 2023
Patricia Ann Siegner, 92, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 19, 2023. Born January 30, 1931, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Iona Moulton. Pat graduated from St Agnes College of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland to become a registered nurse. She left nursing to raise her family. Pat was a devoted wife and mother. She had a passion for tennis, ceramics, cross-stitching and painting. Pat was an avid volunteer with Charlotte Crisis Assistance Ministries in the early years of the charity. After moving to Houston she volunteered with Northwest Assistance Ministries and Interfaith CarePartner Gathering. Pat also enjoyed games of Rummikub with her family and friends. Her favorite games were played with her children and grandchildren on her cherished annual family beach trips. She is survived by her sons John Siegner Jr (Ara) and Thomas Siegner (Robin); her daughters Catherine Ballenger, Elizabeth Richards (Robert), and Amy McWhorter (John); her grandchildren Maxwell Ballenger (Susie Warden), John Siegner III, Bruce Ballenger (Mercedes), Ashley McWhorter, Scott Siegner (Alyson), Brooke Richards, Allison McWhorter, Jake Ballenger, Shannon Siegner, Angela McWhorter and Bethany Richards; and great grandchildren Miles Ballenger, Liam Ballenger, Luke Ballenger, Brayden McWhorter, Lincoln Ballenger and Claire Ballenger. Pat was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, John Joseph Siegner. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow in the chapel at 11:00 am. A graveside service will immediately follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, in Matthews, NC (Addresses below). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Patricia's name to mdanderson.org.
