"Frances A. "Sweetie Pie" Hutchinson, 74 of Pine Valley Plantation died peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chester, NH, she lived for many years in Derry, NH before moving to Belchertown in 1966. She spent many years caring for people in their homes as a home health aide. She was also a Girl Scout Leader and Sunday School Teacher. She and her husband enjoyed many years of traveling throughout the United States and they were 30 year members of the Carriage Club. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 56 years, William E. Hutchinson, along with her five children, Janet Girouard (Leo) of Belchertown, W. David (Partner Cindy Goss) of Pelham, Robert B. (Amy) of Belchertown, Susan Hutchinson of Ware, and Barry D. (Stella) of Belchertown along with her 12 precious grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She also leaves nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 30 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. (Rte. 202). Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in South Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to Baystate VNA & Hospice. "
