"Palmer, Lawrence "Bubba" Wallace, 62, a lifelong resident of Palmer, died Tuesday, July 21 at Baystate Medical Center with his caring family by his side. Born in Palmer, April 1, 1953, he was the son of Robert "Moose" Wallace, Sr. and Agnes (Johnson) Wallace. He worked as a mason tender for 25 years for Pascale Construction and had previously worked for the former Belchertown State School and the State Highway Department. He will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Teresa "TK" (Hurley) Wallace, a stepson James Hurley Baker, Jr., of Palmer, adopted daughter Bobbi Ann Hurley of Belchertown and a grandson Anthony. He also leaves his siblings, Robert "Duke" Wallace, Jr. of Florida, David "DW" Wallace of Springfield and Thelma "Tumpy" Wallace Cook and her husband George of Springfield. He also leaves many close friends and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter Lindsey in 1998, as well as 6 siblings, Beverly, John, Frederick, Edward, Raymond and Bruce. Friends may pay respects on Sunday at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please omit flowers, and, for those wishing, make donations to the funeral home in his memory. "
