Eric Kevin Krauss Eric, 40, of Charlotte, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Charlotte, NC on April 6, 1971, to Don and Linda Krauss. Eric graduated from Fort Mill High School in 1989 and then from Winthrop University. He loved music, his friends and his family and his cat ?Buddy? and also fishing with his dad. In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his sister, Tina Krauss Keisler and her husband, Ray; brother, Shawn Krauss; nephew, Bo Jack Dawson; his beloved cat ?Buddy? who was very important to him; and aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Ave., Charlotte, NC 28203.
