Doris S. Ingham
October 29th, 1918 - August 3rd, 2008
"Doris (Stevenson) Ingham, 90, of Pheasant Hill died Sunday, August 3 at Holyoke Medical Center with her family by her side. Born in Holyoke on April 29, 1918 she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Morrison) Stevenson. She grew up in Holyoke and moved to Granby in 1950. She worked for many years for the previous Albert Steiger Co. and for 16 years at Foodmart in S. Hadley. She was a former member of the United Church of Christ in Granby and also had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Holyoke Lodge. Her husband of 65 years, Ralph W. Ingham died in November 2006. She will be deeply missed by her son James Ingham of Granby and daughter Linda Courchesne of Belchertown, as well as her precious granddaughter, Lisa Courchesne of Granby. Her sister, Ruth Ray of Oregon and many nieces and nephews also survive her. A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 6 at 10:00 a.m. in the Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton Street (Rte 116) followed by burial in West Cemetery, Granby. Calling hours are Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Granby Ambulance Fund c/o Granby Fire Department, Granby, MA 01033. "
