Timothy Daniel Reim
September 25th, 1973 - June 26th, 2015
"Palmer, MA -Timothy Daniel Reim, 41, died on Friday, June 26 at Wing Baystate Hospital with his beloved family by his side. He was born in Palmer on Sept. 25, 1973 to his father, Daniel F. Reim (2013) and his mother, Christine (Jauch) Reim. He leaves his wife Robin (Peterson) Reim and her children Michael, Mark, Jon and Tabatha of Palmer, his son, Donovan Reim, his mother, Christine (Jauch) Reim, his brother Kevin Reim and wife Candace of Bardonia, NY, his sister, Erin (Reim) Venneri and her husband Luke of Palmer, his niece Paige Venneri, and nephews Trevor Reim, Ben Reim and Dominick Venneri. He is also survived by his Grandmother Barbara (Rogers) Jauch and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his father, he was also predeceased by his Grandparents Francis and Mary Marjorie Reim and his Grandfather Frederick Jauch. A 1991 graduate of Palmer High School, Tim was a talented athlete who played basketball, baseball, golf and ran cross country. Tim went on to graduate from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Sports Marketing and Management. At 19 he enlisted in the Massachusetts Air National Guard and served in the Medical Squadron at Barnes Air National Guard base for many years, winning Airman of the Year for the Wing. Tim went on to serve many more years in the Army on active duty, and achieved his dream of becoming a Jumpmaster in the 82nd Airborne Division. After a long, decorated military career Tim volunteered his time to both The American Legion in Palmer and the Amvets in Three Rivers. Tim loved watching NCAA basketball, especially Indiana University, North Carolina State and the University of Massachusetts. He enjoyed camping and always looked forward to family gatherings. Tim was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, and brother. God holds him in his arms now, we will hold him in our hearts forever. Calling hours will be at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, North Main St., on Tuesday, June 30 from 4-7:00pm. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday for 9:15 am to process to a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Palmer. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors."
