Beers and Story - Belchertown
Helen C. Farnsworth
November 4th, 1926 - June 19th, 2015
"Helen C. Farnsworth (nee Claire-Helene Nicollier), age 88, died at home in Brimfield on 6.19.2015. Born in Rheinfelden, Switzerland on 11.4.1926, she came to the US after the war and married Robert Farnsworth of Shrewsbury, MA in 1951. Helen is survived by her daughters Gail Farnsworth French of Brimfield, MA and Jill Reed of Windber, PA and by her grandchildren, Emily and Kate French and Matthew Reed. She was predeceased by her husband, Bob, in 1997 and by her grandson, Christopher Reed, in 2014. Prior to her move to Brimfield in 2012 to be nearer to family, Helen lived in her motorhome and traveled full-time throughout the West, Southwest and Northern Plains, continuing what she and Bob had done for 14 years until his passing. She was a member of SKP (Escapees, Inc), the Good Sam Club, and several other travel clubs. While Helen is sorely missed by family and friends, she frequently said, "I've lived a full life. I have no regrets and I'm ready for the next adventure!" Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements and the family is holding services at their convenience. "
