John Emmanuel Petrizzo
May 20th, 1938 - December 18th, 2002
" Old Orchard Beach, ME, John E. Petrizzo, 64, died Dec. 18 at home. Born in Jersey City, NJ May 5, 1938, he was the son of Stella Petrizzo of Jersey City and the late Thomas Petrizzo. John had lived in New Jersey and Lowell before moving to Maine 8 years ago. Mr. Petrizzo worked for Raytheon for 15 years, and retired in 2000 as a senior electrical engineer. He had previously worked for Bendix in New Jersey for 20 years and had also served with the Army during the Korean War. John is survived by his loving wife, the former Ruth Jones, formerly of Wilbraham, along with 6 daughters Melodie, Cristel, Deborah, Jacqueline, Jennifer, and Kerry. He also leaves a brother, John of Jersey City and 11 grandchildren and one great grandson. Calling hours will be Monday, Dec. 23 at the Beers & story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, from 12:00—2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in East Wilbraham Cemetery. Please make donations in his memory to American Cancer Society, Western Mass Division, 31 Capital Drive, W. Springfield, 01089. "
