" Palmer, Grace “Evelyn” Kenyon Swett of Depot St. died Nov. 9 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenfield on Sept. 29, 1902, she was the daughter of the late Lillian (Morris) and Walter Inman. She has lived in Palmer since the age of 18, previously of Maine. Grace worked during WWII at Wickwire Spencer in Palmer. She leased and ran the Converse Hotel in Palmer. She ran a rooming house kitchen and served meals for weddings and banquests many years ago. She later bought property on Depot St. to be renovated and used as Twin Maples Rooming House for 50 years. She also was very fond of animals. Grace is survived by her children, Joseph E. Kenyon of Palmer, William E. Kenyon of Brimfield, and Mary Lou J. Dronzek of Palmer. She also leaves a brother Roscoe Inman of Portland, ME, eighteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. Grace was predeceased by her first husband Archie T. Kenyon, her second husband Foster E. Swett, and three daughters, Grace Witek, Dorothy Gruszczynski and Marion Kenyon. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am in the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5-8p.m. on Tuesday. "
