Donna Lee Gamache
September 17th, 1941 - October 7th, 2002
" Donna Lee (Hulse) Gamache, 61, of Washington Road, died peacefully on Monday after a long illness. Born in Springfield, September 17, 1941, she has resided in Brimfield since 1965. She was a very artistic person, and made lace-draped porcelain dolls. Her dolls were offered for sale at various shops and craft fairs, as well as for gifts to family and friends. Donna’s artistic talent also included the use of charcoal and pastels as a medium for family portraits. Mrs. Gamache was a devoted wife for 33 years to Denis Gamache, the beloved mother of a daughter Tracy of Westfield, and two sons, James and Derek of Brimfield. She was the caring sister of three brothers James and David of Springfield, and Frank of Agawam, along with two sisters Cynthia Trudell of Southwick and Liz Tereska of Palmer. She was the loving grandmother of 6. Her beloved brother, John, predeceased her. At her request, there will be no public services The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to American Diabetes Society, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150-1160. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. "
