Evelyn M. Renaud

"Evelyn (Muniec) Renaud, 81, former longtime resident of Palmer, died peacefully Monday, October 10 in Santa Clarita, CA. Born in the Bondsville section of Palmer, February 10, 1930, she was the daughter of Victor and Mary (Lebida) Muniec. A former communicant of St. Bartholomew's Parish, she had attended St. Thomas Parish before moving to CA in 2008. She was the office manager of Kszepka Insurance for over 20 years before retiring. Her husband, Charles F. Renaud preceded her in death in 1987. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Mary Dembkowski and her husband Steven of Santa Clarita, CA, and her son Gerry Renaud and his wife Theresa of Belchertown. She also leaves her siblings Victor Muniec of VA, Charles Muniec of Brimfield and Irene Niejadlik of Indian Orchard. Additionally, her 4 precious grandchildren, Marc (and his wife Gianna), Megan, Christina and Allison, 2 great grandchildren, Gabbie and Max and many nieces and nephews survive her. Besides her husband, 2 sisters, Anna Wilga and Jennie Szczygiel preceded her in death. Calling hours will be Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, October 15 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, Palmer. Burial will follow in Mt.
