Daniel F. Cronin
March 8th, 1947 - August 7th, 2011
"South Hadley, Daniel F. Cronin, 64, died Sunday, August 7. Born in Northampton, March 8, 1947, he was the son of Denis and Bridget (Moran) Cronin and has lived here for 27 years. A graduate of Springfield College, he achieved his Master's in Applied Theology from Elms College in 2000. He served as chaplain at Noble Hospital, and later at Heritage Hall in Agawam. He was also a self employed landscaper. He is survived by his wife Christine (Kapica) Cronin, along with his brother James of Florence as well his brother in law Neal Vitalis, also of Florence. Additionally nieces and nephews survive him. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. in the Beers & Story S. Hadley funeral Home, 646 Newton St., (Rte. 116) followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 pm. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, 287 State Street Springfield, MA 01105-1812, or to a charity of ones choice. "
