Hilda M. Randlett
July 16th, 1925 - July 27th, 2007
"Palmer- Hilda M. (Cumming) Randlett, 82, of Wilbraham St. passed away July 27, 2007 at home with her family by her side. Born July 16, 1925 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Forbes and Alexina (Masson) Cumming. Hilda has lived in Palmer since 1960 and is a member of the Second Congregational Church. She worked for many years at the church as the secretary. Hilda was a longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. As a young girl, she took great pride in dancing with the traveling Russian Ballet Company. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Horace in 1998 and is survived by her daughters, Linda Randlett, Brenda Charbonneau and her husband Paul, all with whom she lived, and Sandra Berthiaume. She also leaves five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday August 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Knoll Cemetery. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Because of Hilda’s strong regard for the loving care given by the Quaboag Valley VNA/Hospice to her husband and now herself, she requested that any gifts upon her passing should be donations and support for the Quoboag Valley VNA/Hospice to help them continue their invaluable service to other families in her community.
