"Springfield - Hervey N. McDonald, 73, of Fremont St., passed away on November 29, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1941 in W. Springfield, MA, son of Hervey and Mary (Carabetta) McDonald. Hervey retired from Olympic Fasteners in Agawam after working for 10 years. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Rose (Baj) McDonald of Springfield. He will also be missed by four children, Theresa Bertrand and husband Peter, Deette Gauthier and husband Richard, Michael McDonald and wife Gabriella and Kimberly Fusco and husband Paul as well as eight grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Services are private and at the convenience of the family."
