Leonard C. Reese Mr. Reese, 81, of Charlotte died at Frye regional Medical Center on Saturday, May 9, 2009. He was born December 12, 1927, in Greenville, SC son of the late James Talmadge and Lona Daniel Reese. He was a retired transport driver and enjoyed square dancing, blue grass music, hunting, fishing and gospel singing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reese was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel and his son, Robert Reese. Survivors include his son, L. Steven Reese of Denver, NC; sister, Sylvia Plyer of Lincolnton, NC; granddaughters, Stephanie Mims of Mooresville, NC and Anne Marie Moore of Huntersville, NC and two great-granddaughters. Funeral service for Mr. Reese will be held in the Dilworth Chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 12, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
