Patricia Walke

Patricia Kay Walke, age 71, of Evergreen CO passed away on Friday November 16, 2018 at home. Pat was born on September 22, 1947 in Denver, CO to John and Rosabel Schneider. She grew up in Evergreen CO as a Blue Creek Valley native on the Schneider family ranch. Pat graduated from Evergreen High School in 1965 and went to work for Coors Brewing Company where she met her husband Herman. In 1969 Pat proudly served as the Evergreen Rodeo Queen. Herman and Pat were married on June 30, 1973 and together they raised their two children John and Katy. Pat had strong ties to the Evergreen Fire Department formed through employment and her father and husband’s volunteer status. She spent many hours at the firehouse cleaning and doing various activities to support the firefighters. Pat worked at three Jefferson County schools where she formed some of here closest friendships over the years. Pat was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, two children, John (Rachael) Walke of Saguache, CO and Katy (Mark) Riccio of Houston, TX; three brothers John (Bonnie) of Evergreen, CO, Bill (Libby) Schneider of Littleton CO, and Mike (Vicky) Schneider of Lakewood, CO; and five grandchildren Kaitlyn Walke, Jacob Walke, Anson Riccio, Leighton Riccio and Hayes Riccio. Pat love her animals and spending time with them. She loved traveling with her friends and family and going to country music concerts. She will be deeply missed. Pat’s memorial service will take place on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00am at the Evergreen Lutheran Church, 5980 Highway 73, Evergreen, CO.
