Oleen Wingate McLeod, 85, went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Nov 28th, 2016. She was born on April 8, 1931 to the late Olin & Grace Wingate. Oleen was an avid bridge player, Bingo enthusiast, and was very active in her church. She was an original member of the 'Sweet Adeline's singing group. Memorably, Oleen worked at St. Peter's Episcopal Church and was most proud to have touched many lives through Urban Ministries Soup Kitchen. She was proceeded in death by her husband, "Ten", son Tom, sisters Monee & Jean. Survived by children Tim McLeod (Willette), Amanda Edwards (Robin), Todd McLeod (Cathy); grandchildren, Angie & Tracy Edwards; and great-grandson Teagan. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 3, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church, 737 East Woodlawn Road. The family will receive friends an hour prior in the sanctuary. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
