Linda Mary Grywalski Aresco of Charlotte, NC was called home to her eternal resting place on Friday, September 30, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Frank and Adele Bosse Grywalski. Linda was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and graduated from Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, CT. She earned a degree from Bay Path Junior College (now Bay Path University) in Massachusetts and a degree from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC both in Business Administration. She worked for ADP for 15 years until her retirement. Her hobbies included cooking, photography, reading, playing board games and tennis. Her special memories included traveling throughout the United States, Bermuda, Costa Rica, England, Spain and the Outer Banks with her family. Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years Louis; three daughters Lisa Donovan and her husband Scott of Charlotte, NC, Lori Hicks and her husband Tom of Atlanta, GA, and Leslie Glasgow and her husband Chris of Kennesaw, GA; five grandchildren Elizabeth Bleu Donovan, Thomas and Mary Miley Hicks and Anna Marie and Michael Glasgow; two sisters Michele Distasio and her husband Richard and Lorraine Hourigan; sister-in-law Carol Carta and her husband Tom; many nieces and nephews and a special aunt, Julie Grywalski of Fairfield, CT. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte. Funeral mass celebrating Linda's life will be held Saturday, October 8 at 10:00 AM at The Cathedral of St. Patrick, 1621 Dilworth Rd. E., Charlotte. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 1420 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204 or a charity of choice in memory of Linda.
