Rita A. Falcetti
August 25th, 1925 - December 2nd, 2017
"South Hadley, Rita A. (Sabourin) Falcetti, , died on December 2, 2017 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born August 25, 1925 in Tupper Lake, NY, she was the daughter of Alfred and Olivine (Quenville) Sabourin. Rita was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years. She was a faithful communicant of St. Theresa's Church and very active in many of it's programs and activities. She was an avid reader and gardener and enjoyed making quilts and the many trips to Florida and Lake Dunmore, VT. She will always be remembered for her nurturing and caring nature. Rita will be deeply missed by her husband, of 60 years, Frank, along with their children, Peter and his wife Julie of Acme WA, Tom of Granby, Mary Kim Bourdeau and her husband Rich of Waterville Valley, NH and Tim and his wife Sue of Southampton, along with her eight precious grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Brad, Chris, Steve, Ken, Sam and Sarah. Her brothers Edgar and Leon and sister in laws, Linda Bernier and Vena LaBrie and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by many siblings. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, December 6th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church, please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home (646 Newton St.). Memorial donations in her memory may be made to, St. Theresa's Church, 9 East Parkview Dr. S. Hadley, MA or South Hadley Council On Aging, 45 Dayton St., S. Hadley, MA 01075.
