Brooke Ashley Betts, 26, went home to be with our Heavenly Father, on Monday November 16, 2015. She was born in Charlotte, NC on July 24, 1989 to Marvin Betts Sr. and Nancy Ledbetter Betts. Brooke was an avid animal lover, and was very passionate about cooking. She was a strong person whom all of her friends and family looked to for advice. Brooke was her family and friends cornerstone, providing love, wisdom and kindness. In addition to her parents she is survived by her brother Marvin Betts Jr, her sister Whitney Betts, and her niece Emma Doyle as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Brooke's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday November 21, 2015 at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Boulevard. Family will receive friends following the service.
