Ms. Copeland, 58, of Charlotte, NC passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. She was born in Henderson, NV on March 2, 1957 to Janet Turner Ratteerree and the late Carroll Williams. Janet graduated from West Mecklenburg High School and was Vice President of Bank of America. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her 2 sisters, Jackie Wentzel of Cornelius, NC and Julie Skymba and her husband, Mike of Austin, TX; step father, John Ratteerree; 2 nephews, Steven Waldrop and his wife, Katie of Clover, SC, Jacob Skymba of Austin, TX; niece, Kelley Waldrop of Cornelius, NC; and great-niece, Emeri of Cornelius. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2015 in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
