Laurel Place

"Belchertown-Laurel L. Place, 59, of Pine Valley Plantation, passed away October 15, 2018 along with her mother, Doris, as a result of a tragic car accident. Born in Dartmouth on May 25, 1959, she was the daughter of Earle and Doris (Kobza) Place. Laurel has lived most of her life in Belchertown, where she raised her family. She enjoyed outdoor activities that included hiking and gardening. She also liked to quilt and expressed many creative talents. As a Reiki Master, she also touched many people with her healing mastery. Laurel's greatest passion was her family. Her kind, beautiful spirit will be treasured by her children, Heath Hutchinson and his wife Elisha of Greenfield, Leiana Hennessy and husband Brian of Williamsburg, Lauren Adams and husband David W. of Colrain, and Luellen Bailey and husband Neil of Chadds Ford, PA. She also leaves her dear grandchildren, Madison, Eric,Wyatt, Cora, Abby, Katelynn, Tyler, Charles, Lil, Allie, Cameron and Emma as well as her siblings, David Place, Diana Reynolds and husband Dan, Jim Place, Doug Place and half sister, Beverly Morrison. Calling hours will be Friday Oct 26th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. as well as Saturday, Oct 27th from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Memories will be shared at 12:00 p.m. Donations may be made at the funeral home during calling hours."
