"Belchertown - Taylor A. Curtin, 27, passed away on October 21, 2018 as a result of an all-terrain vehicle accident in Carthage, ME. He was born on July 5, 1991 in Seoul, South Korea, son of Jeffrey F. and Linda M. (McGinnes) Curtin of Belchertown. Taylor was a nearly lifelong resident of Belchertown, graduating from Belchertown High School in 2009 and subsequently attending Springfield Technical Community College. He proudly served his country in the US Army Reserve and was deployed for active duty to Afghanistan in 2011. He maintained a passion for military service and addressing the unique needs of veterans in their post duty lives. Taylor was employed by Tech Roofing Services, Inc. in Chicopee for the last four years. He felt alive and fulfilled by strenuous labor and was proud of his work. Besides his parents, he will be deeply missed by his sister Shannen Curtin of Minneapolis and brother Connor Curtin of Belchertown. He will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. A Graveside service with military honors will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery on Main St. in Agawam on Friday Oct. 26th at 2:00 p.m. Please meet directly at the cemetery.
