"South Hadley - Robert A. Carrier, 83, died on November 29, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born April 1, 1935 in Holyoke, MA, son of Alfred and Blanche Carrier. Bob co-owned the family run business Carrier's Appliance of Holyoke for many years. He will be deeply missed by wife, Judith Carrier of S. Hadley and five children, Michael Carrier of Chicopee, Robert Carrier of S. Hadley, Ron Carrier of Chicopee, Paul Carrier of Monson and Dean Carrier of San Francisco, CA. He is also survived by five siblings, Lorette Beaulieu of Holyoke, Claire Zabecki of Rutland, Joan Malinowski of S. Hadley, Jeannette Devine of Springfield and Fred Carrier of Chicopee. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Breckenridge and siblings, Simone, Annette, Dottie, Victor and Roger. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial is at the convenience of the family.
