"Charlton MA - Courtney Dawn Mott, 35, passed away on January 17, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 9,1983 in Worcester, MA, daughter of David and Kelly (Handy) Mott of Holland. She was raised in Holland and attended Holland Elementary School and graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in Sturbridge. She earned her Associate Degree from Becker College in Early Childhood Education. Courtney loved children and worked as a Nanny. She enjoyed painting and drawing. She also loved to cook and was a cat lover. Courtney was a very caring person, who always thought about others before herself. Besides her parents, she will be missed by her brother Derek Mott and his wife Jennifer and their daughter Delia of Holland and her grandmother Aline Newton of Athol, MA. She also leaves her fiancé Harold Moquet and his son Bret of Charlton, MA with whom she lived. A reception will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM, followed by a Memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
