"Wilbraham - Robert L. Sheldon, 82, passed away on January 10, 2019. Born May 13, 1936 in Palmer, son of the late Nathan and Mary (Sorrell) Sheldon. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth B. Sheldon, and sister, Gladys Ditto. Before retiring in 2008, Robert worked as a tour bus driver for 42 years. He will be deeply missed by his eight children, Randy R. Sheldon of Southbridge, Bonnie Curboy of Southbridge, Valerie Trombley of Ware, Karen Skowyra of Palmer, Kim Curboy of Southbridge, Cindy Zisk of Brimfield, Todd Sheldon of Palmer, and Dwayne Sheldon of Warren, and his beloved 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A private committal service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Palmer. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
