Ashley Kristine Reasor-Williamson
March 9th, 1984 - September 18th, 2014
September 18, 2014, the Lord called Ashley Kristine Reasor-Williamson home to give her a body and voice far beyond what she could have ever known here. A body and voice of angelic, heavenly glory. For thirty years, the Lord asked her to touch many, many lives as only she could. Not just those of her much-beloved sister and parents, but her loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, to close and casual friends, and even beyond to complete strangers. She drew them in with her beautiful smile, and twinkling blue eyes . She was pure joy. Pure love. Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather James Reasor. A best friend, Jennifer Brooks. She left behind to cherish her memories her father and mother, Glen Kiah and Lou R. Williamson. Her much-beloved sister, Bethany Lee Williamson, all of Charlotte, NC with which she made her home. Her maternal grandmother, Terri Reasor of Huntington, WV. Aunt and uncle Jim and Nancy Moss of Huntington, WV. Paternal grandparents Glen and Shirley Williamson of Prichard WV Aunts and uncles Bill and Donna Ekers, Joe and Kathy Adkins all of Prichard. Cousins Jordan and Nathan Moss. Joshua, Brandon, Sarah, Nathan, Dewanda Ekers. Sienna, Jace, Kylei, Tristan, and Alayna. A very dear cousin Marjorie Ferguson of Ashland, KY. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Home in Charlotte, NC. A private Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 24, 2014 at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in Huntington, WV. Our services are crafted to honor your loved ones in ways that are both deeply meaningful and healing. Our rich history began in 1946 when Irvin W. Hankins and James B. Whittington took the reins of the Crouch Funeral Home. The growth of our service and the community's support led to our move in March 1963 to the current location—once St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, built in 1930. Our chapel, a cherished historic landmark within the storied Dilworth neighborhood, is renowned for being the only funeral home in Charlotte graced with its own chapel, echoing with decades of history and serenity....
