"Belchertown - Carol Marie (Darling) Demers, 64, died on August 17, 2019. Born July 15, 1955 in Johnson City, NY, daughter of Frederick and Caroline (Brougham) Darling. Carol owned Hometown Furniture and gifts. She will be deeply missed by husband of 28 years, Gary Demers of Belchertown and two children, Jamie M. Carlo of Dayton, OH and Jason M. Smith of Lisle, NY. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Frederick C. Darling of NY and Robert E. Darling of SC, as well as 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Calling hours will be Saturday, August 24th from 10-12:00 followed by a service at 12:00pm at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home.
