Mrs. Pappamihiel, 65, of Charlotte died peacefully Thursday, May 1, 2014, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Paul and Helen Manos, Mrs. Pappamihiel was born February 25, 1949, in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1967 and attended North Texas State University. She married Steve Pappamihiel on February 24, 1974, in Dallas, Texas. The couple then moved to Charlotte following the wedding, and it has remained Mrs. Pappamihiel's home since that time. Mrs. Pappamihiel was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve, and granddaughter Vivian Clark. She is survived by three children, daughter Renee Pappamihiel of Tallahassee, FL, daughter Nichole Clark and her husband William of Detroit, MI, and son Dallas Pappamihiel of Charlotte; and granddaughter Caroline Clark. She is also survived by brother Peter Paul Manos, and sisters, Georgia Comits, Sophia Watkins, and Marianna Anagnostis. A funeral service for Mrs. Pappamihiel will be held on Saturday, May 3 at 10 am at Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery in Spring Branch, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery, 2191 Twin Sisters Drive, Spring Branch, TX 78070.
