William E. Richardson, Jr. "Billy" Mr. Richardson, 58, of Charlotte, NC passed away on January 23, 2014. He was born on April 23, 1955 in Charlotte, son of William E. (Bill) Richardson, Sr. and Barbara Richardson. After he graduated high school, Billy served our country in the U.S. Army from 1973 until 1976. After he was honorably discharged he became a painter and enjoyed golf. In addition to his parents, Billy is survived by his partner, Lyndon Kennedy; sisters, Margaret Morton and her husband Curt of Jacksonville, FL, Patricia Dutton and her husband Tom of Greenville, SC, Nancy Ellison and her husband Dennis of Burgaw, NC and Merrie Kiser and her husband Jerry of Indian Trail, NC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Hawthorne Lane United Methodist Church, 501 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC 28204. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
