Loving and missing Grant are grandparents, Ruth and Jim Hallmark, Carol and Dick Harris and great granny, Joyce Hallmark. His aunts, uncles and cousins: Gi and Jeff Hallmark and Elizabeth and Lauren; Janna and Craig Henney and John; Cynthia Medeles and Amanda and Sam; Debra and James Harris and Richard, Jamie and Jillian; Tamara and Minh Tran and Megan; and numerous other loving great aunts and uncles and their families will always have Grant in their hearts. The church community of Warehouse 242, especially their small group, have loved and supported Rachel, Steve and Grant from the beginning of Grant's life and now in this time of grieving. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. A celebration of Grant's life will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Warehouse 242. The growth of our service and the community's support led to our move in March 1963 to the current location—once St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, built in 1930. Our chapel, a cherished historic landmark within the storied Dilworth neighborhood, is renowned for being the only funeral home in Charlotte graced with its own chapel, echoing with decades of history and serenity....
