Beverly A. Jackson

Belchertown – Beverly A. Jackson, 94, of Belchertown passed away June 7, 2023 with family by her side. She was born November 24, 1928 in Palmer to the late Rufus and Ivis (Campbell) Miller. In 1951, Beverly moved to Belchertown and began to establish her career as a businesswoman. She was the co-owner of Bev and Mona’s Antiques and Lace in both Belchertown and New Hampshire. She was also the owner of The Village Victualer Gift Shop in Sturbridge, Dining Room manager at Steil’s Restaurant in Belchertown and President of G.B. Jackson, Inc. in Belchertown. Beverly was predeceased by her husband, George B. Jackson, in 2000; her son, Kenneth Jackson, in 1981; her granddaughter, Marissa Jackson, in 2014; and her brothers, Wayne and Richard Miller. She will be greatly missed by her son, Mark Jackson, and his wife Brenda; her son, Neil Jackson, and his wife Marcella; her daughter, Laura Jackson; and her 11 grandchildren, George, Jeffrey, Dan, Joshua, Jeremiah, Matthew, Bo, Brooke, Christopher, Sean and Jared; and her 18 great grandchildren. Beverly was a kind, compassionate and generous women, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and brightened everyone’s life she touched. Services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the mentoring program, Girl’s Inc., in Holyoke.
