Margaret "Marge" Moore

Margaret Moore 85, died on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from a series of long illnesses. She is survived by her children: Lois, Linda Jo, daughter-in- law, Renee, (4) grandchildren and (2) great-grandchilden; her sisters: Kathrine, and Mary Ann and brother, Anthony. Ed was her companion of 24 wonderful years bonded in mutual love and admiration. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, companion, friend, and neighbor. She will be deeply missed by all. Marge was predeceased by her sibling, Joe, her daughter, Theresa, her first husband, Joe Howell and second husband, Jessie Moore. Marge loved country music and cowboy culture. She enjoyed cooking and dining with family and friends. Her special favorite was sushi and her daughter’s homemade meatloaf. She worked in the Charlotte area school system in food service for many years and in support of Ed’s Restaurant “Hemingway’s” in Myrtle Beach. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation. South Carolina Cremation Society is assisting the family.
