October 25th, 1943 - December 25th, 2023
Sandra L. Clark, 80, of Gaston, SC went home to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, December 25, 2023. She was born in Danby, NY to the late Frederick and Gertrude Dawson Walton. Sandra enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, spending time with family and loved being a part of her church, Laurel Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald T Clark, brothers: James and Frederick Walton, sisters: Eleanor Taylor and Beverlyn Wieland and grandson, Michael Monroe. She is survived by sisters: Agnes O’Connor, Dolores West, Peggy Tice and Freida Platt; children: Edward Monroe Jr., Judy Monroe, Ronald Monroe, Douglas Clark, Eugene Gove and Crystal Gove; grandchildren: Edward Monroe III, Daniel Monroe, Andrew Clark, Jessica Collison, Dylan Gove, Casey Webb, Kristina Gove, Joshua Schneider, Lindsay Conway and Ashley Jones and many, many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on January 14, 2024, at Laurel Baptist Church, 2250 Pine Street, West Columbia, SC 29170. Family is invited to visit and share a meal at the conclusion of the service in the fellowship hall. South Carolina Cremation Society is assisting the family.
