William "Bill" Becker

William (Bill) Becker of Lexington, SC died at 73 on June 13, 2022. Bill passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. While our hearts are sad that he's gone, we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Bill was born in Bryson City, NC on November 9, 1948. He is predeceased by his son, Adam Becker, his mother, Genevieve Becker, his father, Johnny Becker and his stepmother, Helen Becker. He has left behind his wife of 49 years, Susan Becker, his daughter, Tara McCarty (Arch), his daughter-in-law, Toni Becker, his sister, Shirley Jones (Bob), his brothers, Eddie Becker (Donna) and John Becker, four grandchildren, Ada Becker, Spencer McCarty, Ruth Ann McCarty, Tripp McCarty and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held July 9, 2022 at 11 AM at Mt. Horeb UMC, 1205 Old Cherokee Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Viistiation will be held prior to the service at 10 AM.
