Tonya Lynne Broome

Tonya Lynne Broome of West Columbia, SC, pasted away unexpectedly in her sleep on Tuesday night September 7, 2022, due to a severe case of sleep apnea. She was 48 years old. Tonya was born Tonya Lynne Richburg in Columbia, SC, and graduated from Sloan’s High School. She attended Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC. At the time of her death she was employed by B&B Communications DBA CoastalCom and loved her coworkers there. She lived briefly in Myrtle Beach and most recently in Conway, SC. Tonya is survived by her parents Marvin L. and Robin S. Richburg of West Columbia, SC, and the loves of her life, her children, Grayson L. Broome (21) of Irmo, SC, and twins Jackson H. Broome (10) and Shelby R. Broome (10) of West Columbia, SC. Grayson is a senior at Lander College in Greenwood, SC, and twins Jackson and Shelby will reside with grandparents, Marvin and Robin Richburg. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Per Tonya’s wishes, she will be cremated and no service at this time. Immediate family will have a private celebration of life at a later date to be decided.
