Obit for Michael Mark Wehle Michael Mark Wehle, 74, Irmo, SC died August 31, 2019. Mike was born in Tampa, FL on June 7, 1945 to the late Cecelia Christ and Bernard Anthony Wehle. He grew up in a large family and attended Sacred Heart Academy from grades 1 -8 with his siblings, and graduated from Jesuit High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served four years in Alaska in charge of Separation and Enlistments. He worked for the major Car Rental Companies, which brought him to South Carolina. He also worked at and owned Animal Supply House in Lexington, South Carolina. Mike attended Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. He enjoyed a good laugh, reading history, building model airplanes, completing puzzles and spending time with his wife and family. Mike is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Grant Wehle, daughter, Susie O’Dwyer (Brad), son, Michael Mark Jr (Natacha) and their mother, Irene Wehle, stepchildren Lori DixonSharpe (Randy), Jennifer Grant Pecot (Dominique), Thomas Mark Dixon (Nancy), siblings; Fred,of LA, Gerard, Joseph (Helen), Marilyn White (Jack), Dolores, Kris Holland (Les), all of FL, Sharon Mitchell of CA, Ann Helmer (Bob) of SC, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by four brothers; Bernie, Henry, Steve, John and one sister, Cecelia Garcia. There will be a private Celebration of Life/ Memorial Service at a later date, In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Michael’s memory to St. Jude’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at https://www.stjude.org.
