Obituary For Nancy Edge Powell Nancy Edge Powell, age 69, wife of the late J. Rollin Powell, Jr, died Monday October 28,2019. Born December 11, 1949, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late James Dewey Edge and Audrey James Edge. Surviving are her daughters, Samantha Eargle (Eddie) and Carolline Powell (Oscar), both of Columbia, her grandchildren, Ellison Sloan Eargle, Drew Edward Eargle, Dyllan Mackenzie Martinez and James Rollin Martinez, all of Columbia. Also surviving are her sisters, Audrey Federow (Bruno) of Colmar, France, Cherie Nobrega(Joao) of Lugoff and brother James D. Edge II (Dawn) of Lugoff, along with many nieces and nephews. She loved spending time at her beach house and hanging out with her faithful companion, Gracie, the Italian greyhound who was always by her side. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
