Raymond R. Roberts
December 28th, 1929 - January 19th, 2023
Brimfield-Raymond R. Roberts, 93, passed away January 19, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Born December 28, 1929 in Springfield, Raymond grew up and lived most of his life in Brimfield. He graduated from Hitchcock Academy and began working for his father in construction. Through the years, he was a general contractor for different entities. Raymond proudly served his country during Korea in the US Air Force. Raymond took great pride in maintaining his lawn along with enjoying golf. He is most known for his craft of furniture making. February of 2022, Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Ruth E. (Furey) Roberts and his son, Raymond Roberts, Jr. His memory will continue with his children, Robin Roberts, Roger Roberts and wife Chris, Randy Roberts, Ricky Roberts and wife Cheryl, and Mary Moore and husband Gary and daughter-in-law, Pat Roberts. Raymond also leaves his brother, Roy Roberts along with 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather Saturday, January 28th at Teresa's Restaurant in Ware at 1:30 p.m. for a luncheon.
