Jacqueline "Jacquie" Ann Erickson

Jacqueline Ann Erickson, 78, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away August 6, 2020, at her home in Lexington. Jacquie was born in Columbia, South Carolina, at Baptist Hospital on June 27, 1942, to the late Odell and Eva Marie (Corley) Busby. She was preceded in death by her adopted father James Albion Wharton Sr. and adored brothers, James Albion Wharton Jr and Joseph E. Wharton. Jacquie is survived by her beloved husband Harlan Scott Erickson of Lexington; nephews James Albion Wharton III (West Columbia, SC), Michael Thomas Wharton (Texas) and Joseph Lee “Jody” Wharton (Sarah) (Ashburn, VA). She also will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nephews from coast to coast, as well as her special furbaby, sweet Peggy Marie. Jacquie met her Scott, the love of her life, while living in California, and the two married on April 23, 1988. They recently celebrated 32 years of marriage. She was a retired accountant in the automobile sales industry and lived in the following states: South Carolina, California, Washington, Virginia, New Hampshire and Michigan. A celebration in honor of her life will be held at a later date.
