Evelyn M. Moynahan
February 29th, 1932 - January 27th, 2024
Brimfield-Evelyn M. (Kozlik) Moynahan, 91, passed away January 27, 2024 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Born February 29, 1932 in Palmer, MA she was the daughter of Aloysius and Paulina (Bigda) Kozlik. For many years, Evelyn lived in Belchertown, along with one year in Monson and in Brimfield from 1994-2021. She took enjoyment in traveling along with knitting and sewing. Going out to lunch and savoring a delicious meal with family was also cherished. Her family fondly remembers her cooking and baking, most especially apple pies. In 1993, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Ralph, and her memory will be cherished by her three daughters, Brenda Kulig and her husband, Tom, of Russell, Susan Mandell and her husband, Andy of Palmer, and Kathleen Bates and her husband, Greg of Bondsville as well as 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Evelyn also leaves her siblings, Dolores Polverari of Monson and Dorothy Lesko of Sunderland. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Frederick Kozlik, Edward Kozlik and Leona Cantwell. Visitation will be held Monday Feb 5th from 9-11 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Sts Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Make A Wish Foundation. Please visit www.beersandstory.com
