Mary (McKenna) Brady, 82, of South Hadley, MA died on October 9, 2020 at the Holyoke Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John Brady. Daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Quinn) McKenna, she was born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 29, 1931. After coming to Massachusetts, she worked for 30 years at Mount Holyoke College in Administration. Mary was an accomplished pianist, having been taught at the London School of Music and enjoyed a lifelong love of music of all varieties. She was also a member of the Holyoke Bowling Team and an avid gardener. Mary leaves her sister-in-law Edith Brady of Holyoke, her nephew Kevin Brady and his wife Nancy of Holyoke, her niece Karen Brady and her husband Nick of California and her great nieces and nephew Maggie Brady, Emily Vidal and Dan Williams; as well as very special friends, Dennis and Lorraine Manley of South Hadley. There will be a calling hour on Thursday, October 15th, 9:30-10:30am at Beers & Story, 646 Newton St. South Hadley. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am in St. Patrick’s Church, South Hadley. Rites of Committal and Interment to follow in St. Rose Cemetery, South Hadley.
