Jean C. (Forcier) Howes

Jean C. (Forcier) Howes, 89, passed away March 28, 2021. Born in Chicopee on December 3, 1931, she was the daughter of Theodore and Estelle (Parmentier) Forcier. Jean grew up and raised her family in South Hadley. She loved music and in turn loved to dance. Spending time with her family and outside at the beach under the rays of the sun was among her favorite. Jean will long be remembered for her independence and the care she shared with others. Jean was predeceased by her sons Kevin in 1979, Kenneth in 2010 and her husband, Kenneth Sr. in 2005. She will be dearly missed by her three daughters, Cheryl LaFleur and her husband John of Pittsfield, Kathleen Koske and her husband Stephen of South Hadley, and Sandra Kleeberg of Granby. "Mema" also leaves her dear grandchildren, Jeff LaFleur and Trisha, Jennifer (LaFleur) Ressler and Mike, Erika Koske, Stephanie (Kleeberg) Albert and Ian, Christopher Kleeberg and Justin Kleeberg along with great grandchildren, Amber LaFleur, Josh LaFleur, Mackenzi Ressler, Jack Ressler, Andrew LaFleur, Michael Ressler, Hunter Stewart and Rylee Albert. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 1st from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home with a service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery in South Hadley.
