Sylvia Jean Dimes was born August 17th 1948 in Salinas, CA to Jess Girard and Marjorie Schutt. She passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2020 with family by her side. Sylvia acquired the name Mema in the early 1990’s and from that time on she has been everyone’s Mema. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going on outings and was always up for a new adventure. She is survived by her husband Junis Dimes, sister Jan Rawson, nephew Steve Rawson, daughter Cynthia Walker , her four grandchildren Trask Williams, Jerimiah Caperton, Samantha Caperton, Sierra Caperton and great granddaughter Skyler Lee Frank. She will be missed by many.
